The main goal of the AceStream (Also known as Torrent Stream) project is to provide multifunctional technological solution that will lead mechanism for publishing, sharing and dissemination of audio-visual information on the Internet to a new quality level. The basic core of Ace Stream System is a specialized software (Ace Stream HD / TS Engine), developed as a client application software for Windows, Mac, Linux/Ubuntu, Android, Apple iOS, etc. (Prior to release 1.0.6, only the version for Windows will be available for the installation).

AceStream (formerly known as TorrentStream) is a new way of p2p streaming which works the same like Torrents. It's a new program so it could not work properly for everyone, as it also still has many bugs which have to be fixed. Here's a guide to start with:
Download and Install
First you have to download the Program, and Install it. See the Download links below, it's a big download so can take some time. Install it, and you're ready to watch streams. Since the Acestream Media release they got two downloads, depending on if you got VLC installed already. If not sure then just select the one for VLC 2.0.5 or use any of the mirrors. Make sure to untick the Browser Extentions/Plugins when installing it, as otherwise it installs the TS Magic Player Plugin which will lead to ads on your browser (Chrome/Firefox).
Opening a Channel Just click the first Acestream link from our listings, as that's the Acestream/Torrentstream Player. It will automatically open the Ace Player and start the stream. With the recent improvements it should work within a minute. Of course depending on your connection. Some links might ask you to select Ace Player manually to open it. You can also use the second link from our listings which is a Webbased player, but that might not load properly when it's very busy. Just click the second link, and a webbased Acestream will open. Then click the play button to start the stream, and it will buffer. Not loading instantly? Sometimes it can be loading in 15 seconds, sometimes it takes a few minutes. All depends on your connection. There's not much info we can give on how to improve it. But check and ask on our forum, see below.
How to stop buffering? Please read the guide on our forum. See the following thread: Wiziwig Forum - Acestream Settings to stop buffering. Follow all the steps and it should work way better.
Updating to new version If you want to update to a latest version of Acestream then you must uninstall the old version manually before updating. Not only using the uninstall function but also delete the directory manually. Otherwise you can get issues of streams not loading. Also the Auto update function could cause trouble, so we advice you that in case of any issues then untick the auto update option while installing.
Issues with 0 streams or prebuffering 0% on some channels? Try Opening this page first: Acestream Test or this Official Test, see if that works. If it does connect and buffer then try again using the links from our schedules.
Channel is stuck after several seconds at 0% buffer This often means that the channel is offline/the source stopped. So it's stuck a 0% and has a still picture. Use another channel then from the schedules. But it could also be you need to clear cache. Go to the acestream icon in your system tray (right bottom), right mouse --> Options --> Advanced --> Clear Disk Cache. Sometimes it helps to get a channel working smooth again.
Channel doesn't run good or is way behind? It be you need to clear cache in Acestream. To do so, go to the acestream icon in your system tray (right bottom), right mouse --> Options --> Advanced --> Press Clear Disk Cache, and press ok. Sometimes it helps to get a channel working smooth again.
Issues with Ads It seems that the TS Magic Player Plugin that sometimes comes with Acestream installation runs popups and ads on Chrome and Firefox. Disable this plugin/extension in Chrome and/or Firefox and the ads issues should be gone
Playback blocked When it says "The playback is blocked because a software which blocks Ace Stream ads is detected", then check if you have any Anti Virus, Ad blockers or anything running that blocks it. Temp disable those to see if it makes difference. Ignore every premium option as that doesn't fix any issues. There's NO NEED to pay for anything, so never every pay and don't buy accounts or anything through the ads or Acestreams. Paying to Acestrean doesn't help the streams or streamer.

Alternative old method: Links not working? It could be not working properly when it's busy. An alternative way to get it working is to Copy and past the available Acestrstream ID into the Ace / TS Player that you installed. For this we provide the Second Acestream link in our schedules: * Go to our schedules --> See the Play now link --> Right mouse --> Copy Shortcut OR you can click the Play link of the Acestream Channel --> See the URL in your browser, and copy only the ID, which is everything behind the play/ or /player. You will only need this ID * Go to Start --> All Programs --> Ace Stream --> Click Ace Player --> Media --> Open Ace Stream Content ID --> Paste there the id which you copied, using CTRL + V or Right Mouse --> Paste and click play / press enter.
